This work is a collaboration between Artistic Director and Choreographer Caroline Lamb and poet and playwright Patrick Jones. It marks the centenary of the tragic mining disaster in Senghenydd on October 14th, 1913. The performance moves around various onsite locations in Senghenydd, ending in the newly created memorial garden. It has a cast of 27 dancers, actors and musicians including members of the BTM brass band.
The work is a moving and memorable tribute to those who lost their lives and those who lived through the terrible aftermath of the disaster. James Dean Bradfield of the Manic Street Preachers has written a song, especially for the event. ‘Each For All: All For Each’ is funded by Coreo Cymru and National Theatre Wales and is an R&D project.
‘Deeply engrossing’, ‘really put a chill up your spine to watch’, ‘amazing and eerie’, ‘mesmerising and moving’.
These are just a few of the brilliant comments left by audience members after viewing ‘Each For All: All For Each’
